Air Treatment System with Antimicrobial Technology
The innovative system uses special Air Handling Units (UTAs) paired with ducts treated with antibacterial agents and micro-perforated ducts also treated with antibacterial agents. The air is treated and purified with high quality and technological standards.
The quality of the conditioned air circulated in environments is now a primary concern for clients, designers, and installers. This consideration is crucial, especially for specific applications such as hospitals, food companies, swimming pools, shopping centers, and highly crowded places.
The Air Handling Units and Micro-perforated Ducts are made using surfaces enriched with active principles, serving as a "second line of defense" to prevent the proliferation of pathogens that may come into contact with the interior of the ducts and UTAs, thereby reducing the risk of chronic contamination.
Logarithmic Reduction of the Number of Microorganisms
The antimicrobial treatment of the construction materials used in the AirSoft Hygiene system components significantly reduces the bacterial load of most pathogens present in the treated air.

Components of the AirSoft Hygiene System
The AirSoft Hygiene air treatment system consists of three main elements:
- Air Handling Unit model CC Hygiene
- Ducting with antimicrobial PAL
- Antimicrobial micro-perforated duct AirSoft Hygiene
The UTAs model CC Hygiene are Air Handling Units with special antimicrobial technology on the internal paneling. The UTA can be equipped with special filters and/or electrostatic filters for further reduction of viruses and bacteria.
The antimicrobial sheet metal provides effective protection (certified according to standards JIS Z 2801:2000A and ISO 22196:2011-08) against a wide range of microorganisms.
The Air Soft Hygiene ducts are micro-perforated ducts with antimicrobial treatment (antibacterial technology). The sheet metal painting cycle is carried out with a special material with antimicrobial properties. They can be used in many applications where environmental conditions favor the proliferation of bacteria, fungi, and algae, with a dual action: inhibiting the growth of germs and eliminating any that may be present.
Tests in compliance with ISO 22196 show a reduction in bacterial colonies of over 99.99% within 24 hours (Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli O157, Legionella, Salmonella, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Enterobacter aerogenes, and Enterococcus faecalis).
