Thermal Treatment Modules
The air thermal treatment sections consist of tube and fin heat exchangers. The coils are mounted on guides for easy extraction/maintenance and allow the insertion of measuring instruments between coils. They can be supplied with hot water or chilled water, on request with steam or refrigerant gas.
- Frame and Tube Plates: Galvanized sheet metal
- Tubes and Fins: Copper and aluminium (available in other materials upon request)
- Tube Plate Holes: Equipped with collars to prevent wear on copper tubes
- Coil Geometry: 30 mm pitch with 1 to 12 rows
- Leakage Testing: All coils undergo a leak test
- Condensate Tray: Located under the cooling coil for condensate collection and drainage
Ventilation Modules
The ventilation section is designed and built to ensure the flow rate and pressure required by the customer. Options include plug fans, directly coupled fans, or belt-driven fans with pulleys. Soundproofing of the fan casing and installation of an observation window with a light point can be provided on request.

Silencing Section
Air handling units can be provided with silencers to reduce noise transmitted through ducts.
By modifying the number of baffles, silencer length, and type of sound-absorbing material, most acoustic attenuation requirements can be met.
The silencer can be mounted internally or ducted upstream/downstream of the unit.
Typically, the sound-absorbing baffles are made of mineral wool with an anti-felting surface.
Humidification Section
The humidification section allows control of the air's relative humidity. Rosso Officine offers two main types of humidification:
Adiabatic Humidification
- Various water atomization technologies
- Low electricity consumption
- Humidification heat provided directly by the humidified air flow
- Low maintenance, especially with distilled water
- Stainless steel collection basin
- Droplet separators in multiple materials with 2 or 3 bends
Direct Steam Humidification
- Stainless steel distributor
- Minimal condensation losses
- No droplet emission in the air flow
- Stainless steel collection basin
- Droplet separators in multiple materials with 2 or 3 bends
